Privacy Policy

Trixxer Pools ("we", "us") builds apps for running friendly sports pools. This policy explains what the apps collect and what we do with it. The short version: we collect the minimum needed to run your pool, we do not sell it, and we do not show ads.

What we collect

• Display name and PIN. When you join a pool you choose a name and a numeric PIN so only you can edit your picks or squares. There is no account, email, or password.
• Pool data. The squares you claim, the picks you make, scores, and pool settings entered by the commissioner. This is visible to other people in the same pool, which is the point of a pool.
• Commissioner contact details. A commissioner may optionally enter a phone number or payment handles so players know how to reach or pay them. These are shown only to players in that pool.
• Push notification token. If you turn on notifications, your device gives us a token so we can send you draw and score alerts. Turn it off in the app or your phone settings at any time.
• Basic device and usage data. Our hosting and database providers (Netlify and Google Firebase) log standard technical information such as IP address and browser type to operate the service.

What we don't do

• No advertising and no ad tracking.
• No selling, renting, or sharing of your information with third parties for their own use.
• No processing of payments. Any money in a pool is handled directly between players and their commissioner, outside the app.

Where it's stored

Pool data is stored in Google Firebase (Firestore) and the apps are hosted on Netlify, both in the United States. Purchases of the app itself are handled by Google Play or Apple, and we receive only confirmation that a purchase occurred, never your payment details.

How long we keep it

Pool data stays for the season so your history is available, and is cleared as pools are retired. To have your name and picks removed from a pool sooner, ask your commissioner or email us.

Children

The apps are intended for adults and are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Your choices

You can leave a pool, release your squares, and turn off notifications inside the app. For anything else, including deleting your data, email hello@playtrixxer.com and we'll take care of it.
